I am the retired Director of Photography for The Associated Press. After a wonderful career directing visual journalism for the world's preeminent news agency, including leading the team that won five Pulitzer Prizes for photojournalism in the last five years, I have picked up my camera again to focus on more serene subjects, mostly in and around Washington, DC. Plus, I’ve been known to buy plane tickets and go to other places. Many of these images can be licensed for editorial use here.
